This area guide was created as a response to bring awareness to my area. Moving to Stockwell in 2015, from the seaside town of Cornwall I was unsure of what to expect. SW9 covers the vibrant Brixton high street, the trendy area of Clapham, and the peaceful suburban area of Oval. There is a certain perception of the south side of the Thames, which I aimed to alter. SW9 in particular has it’s own assets both new and historical with pockets of hidden treasures. Which I aim to highlight to those who have an interest, are thinking of visiting or even becoming a resident. This is not a fully inclusive guide, but rather a photographic exploration of my favourite places within the postcode.
