Blackpool City of Culture 2025

This identity explores northern seaside town Blackpool as UK City of Culture. Blackpool was once a highly popular holiday destination but it has developed a bad reputation and has seen a decline in tourism. The identity aims to celebrate the craziness and quirkiness of Blackpool’s past and present, featuring a nostalgic yet contemporary colour palette. It also features a super condensed typeface designed specifically for this identity inspired by fun house mirrors.

One and Two and the People Who Made It Possible

Throughout history the people who worked on the Voyager mission are rarely introduced, yet without them the Voyager mission would not have been possible. This book celebrates these people and their incredible achievements. It features fold-out pages, some reveal images of the mission and some reveal pink images of the people with pink half pages telling each person’s individual story.

Burslem

Burslem in Stoke-on-Trent was voted the worst town in the UK, where a third of all shops lie empty. Using local dialect, this 6-colour screenprinted set of street art guidelines propose environmental type to be hand-painted onto the fronts of the derelict shops.
